THE SNOW MELTS

THE SNOW MELTS

A bond where our hearts unite,

As her eyes radiate so bright,

Waiting for her hand in mine so tight,

Burning to hold her tonight.

Just to see her smile as she talks,

As my heart beats and knocks,

As she approaches with her walk,

I’m breathless with her curly locks.

Denise’s expression lights up my face,

As her lip balm awaits to be taste,

Staring at true beauty standing in place,

As, I approach her leaving the staircase.

Her soul leads to what I want most,

As nothing divides us being so close,

As I know, Denise is the upmost,

As her cheeks turn the colour of rose.

She sparkles like crystal from the glass,

She’s in a league of her own class,

Of perfection, that I would never pass,

To many years gone by in a tearful mass.

The snow melts slowly and drains,

Where my love is through my veins,

Where my blood pumps relieving the pain,

If I could hold her, I would obtain.

The status, that has always existed,

Where our hearts are not twisted,

But meant for one another to be listed,

As we will unite, without being assisted.
