IMMORAL BADGE
by Ryan Guiley
Inspirational and magnificent she stands,
I didn’t need a white gold wedding band,
To ensure her, that I was her purpose in life,
The day I first saw her, she was my pretty wife.
I knew for certain, she had a higher power,
Recalling the days, I would buy her flowers,
Our lives were spectacular and the upmost,
As everyday, I am living with her spiritual ghost.
Without her, I have that bond of faith and her soul,
The authorities purposely dug their own holes,
To inflict so much pain, for their greedy nature,
Breaking moral values and every legislature.
Every human shall be granted their rights,
As I stand beside her, reaching new heights,
The world will go on, as a new day approaches,
Their deliberate mistakes, just who was their coaches?
Denise, stay strong and keep your stance,
As we will lead and have that great dance,
With my arms around your body and waist,
As justice will prevail, touching your face.
Of those responsible will dealt with by law,
As the scars they left with their claws,
No oversight, or accountability they had,
Power they infringed, with their immoral badge.
Denise don’t fear, since I know fear,
As you saved me, with our prayers,
As I knew of the corruption so large,
Only trusting you, not the people in charge.
