FAIR CHANCE

FAIR CHANCE

I could own the most famous painting,
But I will be the last person remaining,
Who will protect us to the very end,
Who will defend, who you can always depend.

If I only had a fair chance to state,
One opportunity before it’s too late,
That’s what I want the most, to record,
As I can’t be simply avoided or ignored.

This ain’t a card game, hoping for chance,
Without me, our lives will never advance,
Trust and be confident with our decision,
As I can see great a future in my vision.

Where we will dance and shake the floor,
As our children will smile as we will restore,
The lost time of so many crucial years,
Of how I lived in a world filled with fear.

Trusting nobody except you, who guided,
Giving me everything of which you provided,
For your assurance, love and support,
As I will get subpoena to go before the courts.

One might ask, why is this so crucial?
As I am your man with great fiducial,
Who you know, by not having to prove anything,
Tying the last knot in the shoestring.

Every step that we took made us stronger,
As I will reinforce us, as never any longer,
Will we be never be separated or be secluded,
We will dance, with all our family being included.
