CRYSTAL

She loves lighting candles,
As she takes off her sandals,
The flame burns the wax,
As she lays down to relax.

She thinks of him each hour,
As she smells the beauty of flowers,
It’s been over 20 solid years,
As she sees herself in the mirror.

Her eyes sparkle like a crystal,
As her lip touches her teeth in a distal,
She can still hear his voice call out her name,
As 7 years are gone, never will it be the same.

A knock vibrates on the wooden floor,
As her heart aches while it down pours,
Looking out the window, there’s the rooftop,
Recalling the day, of his job cleaning with a mop.

She falls asleep, dreaming of our little ones,
As somewhere he rests his head hearing “Hun”,
A family divided holding on so strong,
As he recalls the night of the wedding dance song.

Quietly, the candle flame burns out,
But her heart is driven to his route,
As he awaits to touch her face,
As his eyes shuts in a different place.

She wears a sterling silver locket,
As he keeps a love note in his shirt pocket,
As firmly they have one and another,
Waking up, she attends our kids being the best mother.
